Previously Dr Bhaskar worked as a Scientific Director (Corporate)/ Chief Operating Officer (India/Middle East) at Clearbridge Health Ltd (IH3; SGX), Singapore, and as a Director at Clearbridge Medi-Centre Private Limited for 2 years. Dr Bhaskar also had a brief stint as Chief Scientific Officer at Aum Biosciences, Singapore. Prior to his commercial roles, Bhaskar was the Head of Molecular Oncology at CTRAD, NUS, Singapore. At CTRAD, NUS, he had long term collaboration with Bayer Healthcare and other biotech companies, for example, Aslan Pharma (ASLN: NASDAQ).

Proficient in the fields of Oncology, Pharmacology, Translational Medical research, and early-stage clinical trials, with a comprehensive understanding of Cancer Biology. Dr Bhaskar has been invited to present scientific & clinical data at prestigious conferences such as AACR, EORTC-NCI-AACR and EORTC several times. He has been the recipient of the prestigious AACR “Scholar-In-Training” award four times.

Dr Bhaskar holds a Ph.D. in Oncology from The Institute of Cancer Research/Royal Marsden Hospital, University of London, under the supervision of Prof Paul Workman FRS, and Prof Ann Jackman. He also obtained his post-graduate specialist training in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge. His previous research appointments were at the Institute of Cancer Research as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham, Queen’s Medical Centre, UK.
